Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of Stopwatch (also known as Timely), a time-tracking service operated by Noizu Labs on its own self-hosted infrastructure. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
What the service is for
Stopwatch is provided for lawful personal and team time tracking: recording work spans, organizing time boxes, attaching client, project, and ticket context, and reviewing captured evidence of your own work.
Your account
- You access the service through single sign-on (Authentik / OIDC). You are responsible for keeping your identity-provider credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be permitted under applicable law to use the service and to process any data you send through it.
Your content
Your time ledger, task titles, time boxes, labels, screenshots, and other content you capture belong to you. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, sync across your devices, back up, and display that content within the service — nothing more. You can export or delete your content at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to track people who have not consented, to store content you have no right to process, to attack the infrastructure, or to resell access without arrangement with the operator. Screenshot and activity capture features exist to document your own work; using them covertly against others is not an accepted use of this product.
Suspension and termination
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for abuse — including unlawful use, attacks on the infrastructure, or use that endangers the service for others. Where practical we will tell you why. You may stop using the service at any time and ask the operator to delete your account and data.
Availability and changes
The service is run in good faith on self-hosted infrastructure, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. We may add, change, or remove features and will try to communicate material changes to the terms in advance. See the Warranty & Liability page for what that means practically.
Governing relationship
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator, Noizu Labs (noizu.com). Nothing in them creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and the operator.
