Short version: Stopwatch is provided "AS IS". We make no warranties of any kind. Do not treat it as the only copy of your time records — keep your own backups.
No warranty
The service (including the mac, iOS, Android, and web clients) is provided by Noizu Labs "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation:
- the implied warranties of merchantability;
- fitness for a particular purpose;
- non-infringement;
- and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
No advice or information you obtain from the operator or through the service creates any warranty not expressly stated on this page.
Your time data is your responsibility
Time-tracking data is often used for billing, payroll, and disputes. The operator does not warrant that recorded spans, captures, exports, or reports are complete, accurate, or retrievable. Hardware fails, sync can conflict, captures can be missed, and bugs can lose or misattribute data. Always keep your own backups of anything that matters — use the export features and your own archival practices, and verify the records before you rely on them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Noizu Labs or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption, arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where implied warranties cannot be disclaimed, the operator's total liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
Nothing in this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not affect rights you may have that cannot be waived by contract.
